Shortly after hearing about the January 12, 2010 earthquake in Haiti and seeing the devastation it caused, I felt that I should go there and give whatever help I can.  The purpose of the blog is to keep friends, family, and others up to date on progress and experiences.

I’m new enough to blogging that I know only enough to be dangerous so I’ll figure out the design stuff later.  For now I’ll just start getting some posts up and see what happens.  I won’t have any pictures to put in until I get over there, but then it will be a little more interesting.

I hope you’ll feel free to leave comments and/or questions.

Dave, thank you so much for sharing this with me! Amazing what you had to work with while there but I know you all made a remarkable difference in the lives of the people you served. Thanks for taking such good photos for the rest of us to get a glimpse of the reality there. God bless you!
